TPC Twin Cities
History
TPC Twin Cities opened in 2000 as Arnold Palmer's championship design set on 235 acres of breathtaking Minnesota countryside just north of Minneapolis in the Deacon's Walk subdivision of Blaine. Palmer worked alongside local Minnesota PGA Tour star Tom Lehman and longtime Palmer collaborator Ed Seay to craft the layout. The par-71 course — measuring over 7,400 yards from the championship tees — is characterized by Bent Grass fairways and greens, sweeping elevation changes, and 72 sand bunkers that create a visually bold test of championship golf. Minnesota's only private PGA Tour-owned property, TPC Twin Cities became the home of the 3M Open (previously 3M Championship on the Champions Tour, hosted since 2001) upon the event's upgrade to PGA Tour status in 2019. The course's demanding nature and excellent playing conditions have made it a respected stop on the schedule in the heart of the Midwest.
