Kinloch Golf Club

History

Kinloch Golf Club in the Richmond, Virginia hunt country, designed by Lester George and Vinny Giles and opened in 2001, is consistently rated among the top five courses in the Mid-Atlantic region. The course occupies a spectacular site on a working horse farm west of Richmond, with rolling Piedmont terrain, stream crossings, and mature hardwood forest creating an atmosphere of pastoral grandeur. Its par-70 routing demands precision over power. Giles, a former Walker Cup captain and prominent amateur golfer, brought a player's sensibility to the design that makes Kinloch especially rewarding for skilled players.
