TPC Deere Run
History
TPC Deere Run was designed by former PGA Tour professional and accomplished golf architect D.A. Weibring and opened in 2000 in Silvis, Illinois, within the Quad Cities region. The course was built on the site of a former Arabian horse farm and stretches along the picturesque wooded ravines of the Rock River corridor. Weibring conceived the layout as a true stadium-style course engineered for both tournament drama and public accessibility — a rare combination in the TPC Network. The par-71, 7,258-yard championship layout features five sets of tees from 5,179 to 7,258 yards, earning it a ranking among Golf Digest's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses. TPC Deere Run has hosted the John Deere Classic every year since its opening in 2000, making it one of the most consistent and beloved regional tournament stops in the Midwest. The course's dramatic elevation changes and river valley setting create one of the most scenic public golf experiences in Illinois.
