History

TPC Las Vegas (formerly TPC at The Canyons) was designed by Bobby Weed in consultation with Raymond Floyd and opened in 1996 within the nation's largest master-planned community of Summerlin, just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Weed crafted a desert showcase featuring scenic elevation changes, mature trees, a wandering canyon, and panoramic views of Red Rock Canyon and the Las Vegas skyline — a design philosophy that prioritized visual drama alongside strategic challenge. The par-71, 7,016-yard course served as co-host of the Las Vegas Invitational alongside TPC Summerlin during several editions of that event. Its public access model distinguishes it from TPC Summerlin's private membership structure, making it the only fully public PGA Tour-affiliated course in Las Vegas. The course is renowned for immaculate desert conditioning and has hosted numerous PGA Tour Champions events including the Las Vegas Senior Classic.
