TPC Myrtle Beach
History
TPC Myrtle Beach is a public resort golf course designed by master architect Tom Fazio in collaboration with PGA Tour player Lanny Wadkins and opened in 1999 along South Carolina Highway 707 in Murrells Inlet, just south of the Myrtle Beach resort corridor. Fazio and Wadkins crafted a par-72, 6,950-yard layout featuring the architect's hallmark aesthetic: wide, flowing fairways framed by sweeping mounds, strategic water features on multiple holes, and large undulating greens in pristine condition. The course presents five tee options for players of all abilities and earns consistent acclaim as one of the Grand Strand's premier championship layouts. TPC Myrtle Beach is a proud member of the Hammock Coast Golf Trail and operates year-round as an open-to-the-public TPC facility — one of the few in the TPC Network offering public access. The par-3 17th hole — a peninsula green requiring a precise carry over water — is the course's signature challenge.
