Yeamans Hall Club
History
Yeamans Hall Club outside Charleston, South Carolina, designed by Seth Raynor and opened in 1925 on a stunning Colonial-era rice plantation, is among the most historically and architecturally significant courses in the American South. Raynor's routing through ancient live oaks, Carolina mossy lowcountry, and remnants of the plantation's rice canals creates an atmosphere of unique beauty and historical gravity. His template holes — including the Biarritz 5th, Short 9th, and Redan 14th — appear in excellent condition on a beautifully maintained course that has changed little since Raynor's death in 1926. One of the most coveted rounds on the American Southeast coast.
