TPC Sugarloaf
History
TPC Sugarloaf is a 27-hole private golf club designed by Greg Norman and opened in 1997 on 1,200 acres of Georgia countryside within the gated Sugarloaf Country Club community in Gwinnett County, approximately 30 miles northeast of Atlanta. Norman crafted three distinct nine-hole courses — The Stables, The Meadows, and The Pines — on the site of the former Rollins Farm. The primary championship combination of The Stables and The Meadows produces a par-72, 7,259-yard layout featuring tree-lined Bermuda fairways, streams, lakes, hills, and some of the most challenging green complexes in the Atlanta area. Golf Digest named the course one of the 'Best New Private Clubs in the U.S.' when it debuted in 1997, and Golfweek ranked it among the 'Top 100 Best Residential Golf Courses.' TPC Sugarloaf has hosted the Mitsubishi Electric Classic on the PGA Tour Champions, bringing professional golf to metropolitan Atlanta's northern suburbs.
