History
Peachtree Golf Club, conceived by Bobby Jones and Robert Trent Jones Sr. in Atlanta in 1948, represents the collaboration of two of golf's greatest figures. Bobby Jones brought a player's eye for strategic beauty while RTJ provided architectural expertise to shape the rolling Georgia terrain. The result is one of the great private courses of the American South, with a demanding but beautiful routing through tall pines. Peachtree hosted the Walker Cup in 1989 and 2009, cementing its status as a course of championship caliber and a testament to the friendship of its two great creators.
