History

The Monterey Peninsula Country Club's Shore Course, originally routed by Seth Raynor in 1925 and dramatically renovated by Mike Strantz in 2004, occupies a stunning stretch of the Monterey Coast between Cypress Point and Pebble Beach. Strantz's renovation transformed a good course into a great one, carving out Raynor's original template holes while adding dramatic coastal scenery and adventurous green complexes. The course's five oceanside holes — including the breathtaking 13th along Stillwater Cove — rival any comparable stretch in American golf.

Signature Hole

13th hole, par 4, 395 yards — along the rocky Monterey Coast with Stillwater Cove visible from tee to green
