History
Sleepy Hollow Country Club, originally designed by C.B. Macdonald and Seth Raynor in 1913 on the Hudson River bluffs north of New York City, is one of the most scenically situated courses in the Northeast. A.W. Tillinghast modified the routing in the 1920s, and Gil Hanse completed a sensitive restoration in 2017 that stripped away decades of accumulated changes to recover the original strategic spirit. The Hudson River is visible on multiple holes, and the restored Macdonald-Raynor template holes — particularly the Short, Redan, and Cape — are among the finest examples in existence following Hanse's work.
Signature Hole
