History
Fishers Island Club, designed by Seth Raynor and opened in 1926 on a remote island accessible only by ferry in Long Island Sound, is one of the great undiscovered treasures of American golf. Raynor routed the course along the island's spine, creating holes that alternate between wooded inland terrain and dramatic seaside stretches with water visible on three sides. His trademark template holes — Biarritz, Redan, Short, and Eden — appear here in some of their finest expressions. The course's physical isolation ensures a small and devoted membership, keeping it among the least-played and most coveted rounds in golf.
Signature Hole
4th 'Biarritz', par 3, 197 yards — a Seth Raynor template with a deep swale bisecting the elongated green
