History

Seminole Golf Club, Donald Ross's Florida masterpiece built in 1929 along the Atlantic coast north of Palm Beach, was Ben Hogan's favorite course, where he prepared for the 1953 Masters. Ross sculpted the sandy terrain into a wind-influenced layout of infinite variety, using Atlantic Ocean breezes to make every hole play differently. The course's raised tees, crowned fairways, and cleverly bunkered Ross greens reward accuracy and imagination over brute length. Though it has never hosted a professional major, Seminole's reputation is built on its architectural purity and the reverence of those fortunate enough to experience it.

Signature Hole
